custom labels :: surf/shark party

Here are the designs I did for Amber and her son's surf/shark party. Below are the designs in action. Thanks again Amber for sharing the pictures of the party. Everything turned out better than I imagined! I especially love the idea of using a pail as the party favor container. Genius!

baby shower :: black, white & yellow

I helped organize and throw a shower for my friend Katie. She has two girls, and is having her first boy in about a month. We are due exactly two weeks apart, so it has been fun tracking our pregnancies together. For her shower, we decided to do a brunch so I wanted to keep the decor light and airy with a boyish feel. So I went with yellow and white stripes, with a hint of black. I was so pleased with the way everything turned out and the food was divine. {I am all about giving food assignments for showers to ease the load!}

Hailey throws the best parties and is such a pleasure to work with. I am always excited to collaborate with her because her parties are one of a kind. This time around, it was a t-rex party for her son's 4th birthday. Of course no detail went unnoticed and the party looked like a hit. I made water bottle labels, party favor tag, napkin ring stickers, and a fact sheet about the birthday boy. Be sure to check out all of the details over on Hailey's blog.

Here are a few images of the custom labels I made for a client. I made the napkin rings, as well as the party favor stickers. I love the color scheme that she went with. So perfect for a cute, modern, baby boy shower.

Brittany already has two boys, and was due with her first little girl. So for this baby shower, it was all things pink!

I finally got my new packaging finished, and I love the way it all turned out. I especially love that everything coincides with the blog now. Next step, finish up the website.

baby shower :: pink . love . valentine's

I helped throw a baby shower for my sister in law who is pregnant with her first baby girl. The shower was a week before valentine's day, so we couldn't resist doing a heart themed shower for baby Harper. I wish I had a better picture of the table cloth my mother in law made. It had a scalloped edge with red ric-rac...seriously darling.

my mother in law made this darling bouquets out of cupcake liners, using these initial mugs to spell out harper. how cute are the heart straws found here on etsy, placed in little milk bottles (which are actually frappuccino bottles with the labels taken off and cleaned out)

we did a breakfast shower with stratta, cinammon rolls, bagels & cream cheese, juice, fruit, and an array of milk (chocolate, strawberry, regular)

I made these little garlands which are great because I can re-use them every year to decorate for valentine's day. I ordered the felt balls from a great shop on etsy that has every color you could ever want. The heart garland I made by hand cutting felt into heart shapes, and then stitching them together with embroidery thread. It was a little time consuming, by very simple.

of course i also made corresponding water bottle labels and we had a cute party favor for all the guests as they left
