I have received a few inquiries as to where I bought the cupcake stands pictured in the previous post. I got them from a Farmhouse Wares. It is an amazing website with a lot of great items. I especially love all the galvanized tin items they have. I just came across pictures from my Scarlett's third birthday party back in October, and realized I never shared them with you. I was going to take a year off from doing a party, but it was our turn to host her little playgroup and one of her friends has a birthday just a few days from Scarlett. So, my friend Erica and I decided to do a little joint tea party for the girls. My son wanted his 5th birthday party to be a superhero party. I on the other hand, did not want a party full of batman, superman, spiderman, etc. So we compromised! Instead we had a Super Bennett breakfast, and I love the way everything turned out. For the decor, I loved all the rainbow parties I had seen around so I decided to mix that into the theme. Months ago I posted these custom baby shower invitations that I made. I finally got some pictures from the shower to share with you. I wish I had better images, but the lighting wasn't great for my amateur photography skills. We had delicious panini's, salads, and a variety of homemade cookies. It ended up being a gorgeous night and the house near the beach was the perfect location.Ashlyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08957616229723579673noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6483831168050768250.post-82147379389370102332012-02-02T10:14:00.000-08:002012-02-02T10:37:56.803-08:00kidlark favs :: land of nod {rugs}{click image to enlarge}I am always on the hunt for cute rugs that don't cost a fortune. I was so happy to see the new selection at Land of Nod. So many fun and colorful prints. Not only are they great for kids rooms, but they would really look great anywhere around the house. The only bummer is that the largest size is a 5x8, but still great nonetheless. These are Kidlark's favs!1.
